EverGRO Cooperative’s Annual Business Meeting was held on June 16th at Renback Barn at Falk Farm, which is located near Madison. Attendees were treated to a meal provided by Summy’s Catering, a Financial Review and Division Review by GM Justin Dreckman, and three special guest speakers. About 90 members and customers attended this year’s event.
Board Elections were also confirmed during the meeting. Michael Coates returned to represent District 1, and Steve Hopkins returned to represent District 3. Phillip Goodwin was selected as the At-Large Board Member. The EverGRO FS Cooperative Board consist of 9 voting members and serve a 3-year term.

Three great special guest speakers gave presentations. Zachary Gilhoski, who is the Senior Director, Government Affairs, for the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives. Trey Davis, President and CEO of the Virginia Agribusiness Council, and Matt Branderburg, the Regional Business Manager for GROWMARK, Inc.
